A Colorado Transplant; Cheri now resides in the Island paradise known as Islamorada with her husband, Geoff. They discovered Islamorada in the early 80's while on vacation from the snow and cold, as they say, "I came for a week and stayed a lifetime."
Love for skiing became replaced by the love of the waters of the Keys. Geoff's family, having owned property and vacationed in the Keys for 25 years, gave him the local fishing knowledge he needed to become a successful Back-Country Guide. Cheri became very involved in starting and organizing many of the Fly Fishing Tournaments now well recognized for women!
Geoff and Cheri have been happily married for 29 years and have a 20 year old son, an honor student in his own right.
